Horizon call of the mountain plot11/24/2023 ![]() The gameplay of Horizon Call of the Mountain can be broken down into two main components, exploration and combat. It is totally understandable to expect Horizon Call of the Mountain to be just like any of the dozens of action-adventure games out there, but the obvious difference lies in the power and features of the PlayStation VR2, which sets the stage for a more involved experience in every sense. Naturally, there are plenty of twists and turns involved, with the narrative providing an intriguing proposition whether you are new to everything or a returning fan that will get so much more out of every little reference and familiar faces. Call of the mountain is a good name for what's basically a climbing sim from what I can see.As master climber Ryas, a disgraced member of the Shadow Carja, it will be up to players to embark on a tale of redemption by uncovering the truth about recent machine attacks on the Sundom. The geography of the whole thing is wildly inconsistent since our man somehow gets to Valleymeet without travelling through a desert. Basically very similar to the Dervahl arc in the OG game. It's a fairly by the numbers plot really. ![]() Protagonist fights her, makes up with his Carja brother, fights her again, defeats her, is a hero. Plan is to mount her souped up emitters on a bunch of tallnecks and lead them through to meridian and destroy it with the attracted machines. Eventually the maker of the powerful emitters is revealed to be a friend/ally of Dervahl with basically the same motivation. His brother has gone in search of the makers of the emitter towards Nora lands. Man goes up the mountain, discovers it's an old ruins with a satellite dish and a bunch of really powerful attractors like what Dervahl used. Protagonist himself has deep doubts about the way he got caught up in the Shadow Carja. Now the protagonist gets to go, in exchange for a pardon. The machines being drawn to the mountain have rampaged through a settlement and Marad is concerned. They discover that there's something drawing machines to a mountain and Marad tells him the protagonist's brother went to investigate and hasn't returned.
